Today is Canada's National Day holiday. The summer weather is hot, outdoor temperature is 31°C. I still keep the habit of brisk walking every day. In the afternoon, I chose the newly built Duncan Creek Trail, which is beside Leslie Avenue and south of Steeles Avenue in Toronto.

【Behind the photo】《Chilly and Super Moon》In Toronto, I drove 80 km north to Willow Beach for sunset photography. On arrival, it was -13°C, chilly like -20°C. The beautiful beach now all covered by snow. Cars and sleds were running on the frozen lake. Walking on the stone embankment, I felt bitter cold and my toes frozen tingling.

【Behind the photo】《Stroll in snowy cold winter》Today is -5°C, warmer than days before, with wind chills feeling like -8°C. In Edwards Gardens, the trail was still paved with thin ice. Lonely walkers spent their leisure on snow walk whereas lovers indulged themselves in the embrace of nature.

I am very happy to have lunch with erhu virtuoso and professor of the Central Conservatory of Music maestro Liu Chang-fu and his wife in Toronto. The first meeting with Professor Liu and his wife in Toronto was 15 years ago.

Weather is getting warmer and the temperature is 10°C. The snow begins to melt. I walked to the park by the pond for 4 km, appreciating the yellow leaves hanging tenaciously in the bitter snow.
