《Krest Hill: Barrier of a river to the world of deeds》
- Text / Photography by Peter Bok

The earth is at my feet
Before you is scenic beauty all for thee
For your ideal and happiness
River isn't a barrier to your world of deeds

《Epilogue》
Tai Shek Mo (Crest Hill) is located in the southwest of Lo Wu Pass.
There are deserted police station and lookout tower in the mountain.
In the 1950s Hong Kong Government
set up a large-scale frontier closed zone at the border in the northern part of the New Territorries,
Preventing smugglers from China swimming across Shenzhen River to Hong Kong.
In 2012 the frontier closed area gradually opened.
This police station ceased working.
Standing on the abandoned helipad,
One can watch the scenery of Lo Wu and Shenzhen in 360 degrees.
It becomes a new attraction spot for hiking and photography.
