The Look of Cherry Blossom at High Park

On 4th May, a sunny Saturday afternoon, I visited High Park at the southern end of Toronto to appreciate and shoot the cherry blossoms. In 1959, citizens of Tokyo, Japan, donated cherry tree to Toronto people who had an opportunity to appreciate the handsome gorgeous views of the Japanese cherry blossoms.

In 2001, the people of Japan donated to the City of Toronto another 34 cherry trees, planted in the High Park. Cherry blossoms happen in April and May each year. The sunny red and pure white cherry blossoms in full bloom, attracting the public to watch. High Park becomes the resort of the cherry blossom. On weekend, the shortage of parking spaces in the park is unable to accommodate the need of the visiting crowd. The fastest and most convenient way is to take the Metro Toronto subway to High Park station. The entrance of the park is just across from the subway station.

This is my fourth year to High Park shooting cherry. I used "Sakura, the crowd, the intimate looks" as the theme to complete this photos album.
