On Oct 11, 2011, I went to Barrie to take some photos of the maple leaves in fall. It was rare for me to drive on Hwy 400 at 6:30am in early morning. This time, I was glad to have my photo buddie Derek to go with me. I could not accomplish this album without his kindness to be my driver. It was not easy to take photos inside the car as the photo composition was limited within the window frames and by the driving speed of 100km. It was dangerous to slow down or park on the shoulder to take pictures. It was all relying on snapshots with a zoom lens and fast and sharp observation. This is only some of my experience in highway snapshots.
2011年10月11日往巴里市拍攝楓葉。我很少在清晨6時半在400公路駕駛。這次幸有攝影老友Derek同行充當司機，否則不能完成這輯照片。在行走中的車廂獵影並不容易，一方面受窗框影響構圖，另外是車速超過100公里，萬不能為拍照而慢駛或停車路肩，這是很危險的！因此祇能利用變焦鏡快拍和具備敏銳的觀察力。這是我在公路快拍的一點經驗而已！
