【Photo Journey】《Xiamen and Gulangyu》: Gulangyu is an island off the coast of Xiamen, a port city of Fujian Province in southern China. After the Opium War, Xiamen was one of the 5 treaty ports opened for foreign trade. Gulangyu is a famous historical and tourist island with beautiful beaches, meandering lanes and varied architecture. It ranks the top of the list of the ten most beautiful scenic attractions in the province. In 1902, a municipal council elected on Gulangyu, thirteen countries had set up their consulate offices with influx of foreigners and business giving rise to a fusion of western and Chinese culture with varied architectural style. It also possesses many accomplished musicians and is therefore nicknamed as " Music Island".

【光影記行】《廈門鼓浪嶼》鼓浪嶼是南中國福建省廈門市外的其中一個小島。鴉片戰爭後，廈門是五個對外開放之一的通商口岸。鼓浪嶼是著名的歷史及旅遊地點，擁有美麗的海灘、蜿蜒的小街及各種不同的建築物，也是全省排名十個美麗景點之首位。1902年，鼓浪嶼淪為租界，13個國家分別在島上設立領事館，大批西方人士及商業活動湧入，中西文化因此𣾀聚，各類不同風格的建築大量出現。鼓浪嶼擁有最多著名的音樂家，因為也美其名為「音樂之島」。
