Revisiting Grass Island

【Photo Journey】《Revisiting Grass Island》Grass Island (Tap Mun) is an outlying island northeast of the New Territories of Hong Kong, with an area of 1.69 square kilometers and the highest point of the hill is 125 meters. As the island is full of grass around the hills, that is the reason "grass island" is so named. Standing atop the hill, I could enjoy a 360-degree panorama of the beautiful view.  Therefore it attracts numerous campers and travellers.
My impression on this island related back to 1976 when 8 university classmates and I stayed on the island to conduct a two days social study on the lives of the villagers for an assignment in Sociology. This was my second time to Tap Mun. I travelled alone, touring around the island and up the hill for landscape photography. I enjoyed the trip and it brought me a lot of precious memories.
