Most people prefer sunny, blue sky and white clouds to go out taking photos. In rainy day, it will affect the shooting mood, even dispel the idea of photography. This day, I went to Cheung Chau Island in Hong Kong, going to shoot some distinctive views. Unfortunately, it rained all day from the beginning to the end of the trip. A Journal of Memories, Images, Passions & Events, through the camera lens. http://peterbok.blogspot.ca

The Hong Kong weather in this December is abnormal with cloudy sky and light rain. The sun has disappeared for half month. However, this has not affected my incentive of having outdoor photography! Two years ago, I visited Yaumatei Fruit Wholesale Market and accomplished a photo album. Monday, May 14, 2012

I was born and brought up in Hong Kong and had never been to the Yaumatie Fruit Market, a historical landmark in the area. In 2010 I returned to Hong Kong and made my first visit on 10 March. The structure of the market has hipped roof which is based on the traditional Chinese building style. There were many wholesale stores inside the market. Saturday, February 11, 2012

I presented this album in black and white in order to restore the plain and simple environment of the water village: Tai O in Hong Kong. This will easily bring your memories back to Tai O in the 60s. 為了保留大澳水鄉的樸素環境,我把這輯照片以黑白顯現,更容易使人懷念60年代大澳的風情。
Nikon D200、AF18-200mm f/3.5-5.6、AF70-300mm f/3.5-5.6、Nikon GP-1 GPS、Ricoh Digital GR3 28mm f/1.9。
