Cherry Blossoms in High Park 櫻花綻放峭寒春

The early spring presents to photographers a fresh scene;
The willow twigs half yellow and half tender green.
When High Park's covered with blooming flowers,
Then it would be the visitors' busiest hours.

It was still cold in spring and rain had come for a few days.  As the weather changed better though cloudy, I could go ahead to see cherry blossoms in High Park in Toronto.

Today is Saturday, I got up early in the morning and arrived at the Park at 8:30am. The car park was full.  It was out of surprise that there were so many people flocking to the park. They knew the weather would turn bad and the cherry would not last long.  This was my 3rd year coming to High Park to take photo of the cherry.  With my experience in the past, I have made some suggestions for taking cherry photos.  Try to do more close observation of the shape, pattern and combination of the cherry and the twigs.  The followings are some examples of how to take good cherry photos.  More photos are available for viewing in the attached album.

櫻花綻放峭寒春

攝拍清景在新春，
綠柳才黃半未勻。
若待園林花似錦，
出門俱是看花人。

四月仍見春寒料峭，幾天都是天陰微雨。乘着天氣轉好，雖然有雲，仍可以趕及往海柏公園觀賞已盛開的櫻花。今天是星期六，我在早上七時半起床，在八時半已抵達公園，料想不到竟然遊人眾多，停車場已滿，很幸運才找到車位，明天開始，天氣變差和下雨，遊人便趕來看櫻花。今年是我第三年在海柏拍攝櫻花。要拍好櫻花，我累積以下心得：巧用你的觀察力和想像力﹐ 近看櫻花和枝丫的形態﹐形式﹐組合和色澤 。以下只是拍攝櫻花照的部分例子。
