I owned a Contax G2 camera some 15 years ago. This is a well known camera always compared with Leica M6 side by side. Contax has produced 7 lens for this camera: 16mm f/8, 21mm f2.8, 28mm f/2.8, 35mm f/2.8, 45mm f/2, 90mm f/2.8, 35-70mm f/3.5-5.6. I have all these except 35mm and 35-70mm.
As film camera is obsolete nowadays, digital camera is therefore dominating the photo market.
In order to use these old lens, I bought the Digital Lumix G10 one year ago. Recently I got the Kipon lens adapter in Hong Kong. The camera operates well with Contax lens except the auto focus feature is not working. Therefore manual focus is required. On Jan 01, 2012, I tested the lens and took these photos.
Photo device: Lumix G10 body, Contax Carl Zeiss Planar 45mm f/2.8 lens, Kipon Lens adapter.
