【Hong Kong Nostalgia】
To enhance the public's understanding of the work of the Legislative Council, Hong Kong government has arranged guided educational tours of the Legislative Council Complex for the public. I have the opportunity to participate in one of the tours and to record my observation through this album.  The wide and beautiful square of the complex facing the Kowloon Peninsular and Victoria Harbour is also one of the best places to take scenic photography.

The Legislative Council ("LegCo" Complex) on 1 Legislative Council Road, Central, Hong Kong, also the first purpose-built building for the Hong Kong Legislature, was constructed in 2008 and was completed in 2011. The Complex includes the Council Block and the Office block. Beside the Complex are the LegCo Garden and the LegCo Square. Apart from providing conference and social facilities for the Council, offices for LegCo Members and staff, and working spaces for the media representatives, there are facilities for the public to gain first-hand information about the work of the Council and to let them voice out their needs.

【香港情懷】
為提高市民對立法會工作的認識，香港政府為公眾人士提供參觀立法會綜合大樓的教育導賞團服務。我有幸參加了導賞團，並以照片記錄了我對立法會綜合大樓內外的感覺。面對九龍半島及維多利亞港的綜合廣場，既寬敞又優美，實拍攝風景的好去處。

立法會綜合大樓座落香港中區立法會道1號，是首座香港立法機關而興建的專用大樓。綜合大樓建於2008年，2011年竣工。  大樓包括議會樓及辦公室，毗鄰為立法會花園及立法會廣場。除為立法會提供會議及社交設施、為立法會議員提供辦公室，為傳媒提供工作空間外，綜合大樓亦提供空間譲公眾親身瞭解立法會的工作及發表意見。

8.  "The People" fully integrates with the architectural fabric of the LegCo Complex' Main Lobby, and connect s it with the people of Hong Kong.  The 87 silhouette figures represent Hong King people of all ages and different backgrounds, depicting their daily activities on the street.

36.  "Soundscape" is inspired by the xylophone.  The dynamic forms of the undulating steel tubes are shaped in tune with part of the national anthem of People's Republic of China.  "Soundscape" is also a piece of urban art furniture for visitors to rest on.
