That day, I went to Toogood Pond in Toronto for photography with a friend. This time, I took the Micro-Nikkor 55mm, f/2.8 AIS lens, a manual micro lens bought in the 80s of the era of film camera. Since the inception of the automatic digital camera, most of these full manual lens have been eliminated and put aside. In recent years because of the trendy retro, some photo lovers having used the automatic zoom lens for long time began to use prime lens to pursue higher picture qauality.

DSLR cameras replaced more heavy VCR, use full manual lens to shoot video. Therefore these old maual lens were revived. This time, I used this micro standard lens to test the extent of its lens quality and convenience of the manual lens with a digital camera body.

【安省景物 由你發掘】
這天，約了友人往多倫多泰顓湖獵影。今次找到我在八十年代菲林（膠卷）機時代購入的藝康 55mm f/2.8微距手動標準鏡頭。自從相機進入全自動數碼時代，這類全手動的鏡頭已遭淘汰，打入冷宮。近年，潮流興復古，部分拍友用慣自動變焦鏡頭，開始追求定焦鏡，以追求更高的照片質素。數碼照相機更代替沉重的録像機，利用全手動鏡頭拍攝録像。因此，以前的舊鏡頭便起死回生，從見天日。今次再用這支藝康微距鏡頭，也可測試此鏡的質素和配合數碼相機的方便程度。

【A Small World ● 世界真細小】

1.  Good things do not need so much.  Just a little red, but it is the color, the perfect combination.

2.  Each party independent of each other is difficult to dominate, attracting the flower lovers!

各佔一方，互不相干，難以獨領風騷，吸引惜花人！

3.  Although life has come to an end, a strong will makes it continue to clench tightly.

雖然已經到了生命的盡頭，但頑強的意志使它繼續緊握不放。

3.  Microcosm of life: on one end is the beginning of life, the other is the end of life.  The distance between the two is not very far!

人生的縮影：這邊廂是人生的開始，那邊廂就是生命的盡頭，兩者的距離不是很遠啊！

4.  Do not underestimate this slim stalk, but I have great confidence in it: for support, give me strength and let me continue to sustain.

不要小看這條幼小的莖，但我對它甚有信心: 可作扶持，給我力量，讓我繼續支撐下去。

5.  The way people have to face is rugged, high, low, and crooked.  There exists light and darkness.  There are numerous obstacles, uneven, large and small difficulties, that need to be overcome one by one.

人要面對的道路並非平坦，高高低低、彎彎曲曲、有光明和黑暗，有無數不平的障礙，大大小小的難關，需要逐一克服和通過。

【The World of Ladybug ● 瓢蟲世界】

6.  Although I am tiny, britght light appears to shift my outline, let you see me clearly. 
(Nov 23 updated: For a natural and better visual effect, I turned the original photo upside down to make the ladybug appear moving on the twig instead of hanging below.)

7.  Life is as such: to have the perseverance to climb, but also the courage to face toward the trough.

人生就是如此：要有往上爬的毅力，也能面對走向低谷的勇氣。

8.  I have a long way to go, but it is not smooth. There is always time of immersive abyss, so be careful.

我要走的路很長很遠，但非坦途，有如臨深淵的時刻，所以要份外小心。

9.  The road is long, I am alone.  What day before I can arrive home?

10.  Although I need to carry a heavy shell, the burden of my life, yet it is my quiet, reliable comfort zone.
