Kai Tak Cruise Terminal 啟德郵輪碼頭

【Hong Kong Nostalgia】
I was born and raised in Hong Kong, living in Ngau Chi Wan Village at a young age. The runway of Kai Tak Airport was in close vicinity. As such I am quite impressive with the busy airport and its lengthy runway. At that time, I used to travel from Kwun Tong Ferry Pier to North Point. When the ferry went around the southern end of the Kai Tak runway, I often saw plane and landing aircraft on the runway.

情繫啟德 Reminiscences of the Old Kai Tak Airport

It had accomplished its 74 years' function as an international airport on East Kowloon. A few years ago, I returned to Hong Kong and took some photos of the old airport site for recollection. I discovered in one of the photos that a man sitting on his bike looked perplexed.
