Stanley in Multi-faceted look 赤柱多面睇

Stanley is a spot of interest for the tourists. I prefer the historical Murray House and Blake Pier。  They were decorated with other historical structures in the vicinity, including the pillars of the "Tung Cheung Pawn Shop" and others of the ancient Athens style.
Strolling along the waterfront of Stanley and viewing the classical pier and the other historical interests, I can see the multi-faceted look of Stanley and let me enjoy a leisurely afternoon.

赤柱是遊客喜歡到的地方。我獨愛欣賞富歷史意意的美利樓和卜公碼頭。周圍環境配以其他具歷史的古蹟建築，包括「同昌大押」石柱和雅典樑柱群組等。遊灠赤柱，細心欣賞歷史古蹟，古雅盎然的碼頭和優美的海濱長廊，譲我看見赤柱的多面貌，也渡過了一個悠閒的下午。

The original roof was damaged and the present one was a reproduction of the original.  The eight chimneys were from the High Street Psychiatric Hospital in Sai Ying Pun.

美利大樓原有的屋頂已毀，現有的拱形木製屋頂是仿照原物建成，上面八支煙卥則來自西營盤高街舊精神病院。

The 3-storey Murray House built in 1864 was originally located at Fa Yuen Road in Central, now dismantled and replaced by the Bank of China.  The House was a dormitory for the UK soldiers.

樓高三層，本位於花園道中國銀行現址，建於1846年，是昔日英軍宿舍。

The corridor was decorated with the classical lamp sets.

The tiles and pillars of the vault were retained to their original look and style of the architectural structure.

The stone pillars of the "Tung Cheung Pawn Shop" were demolished from an old building at Shanghai Street.  This envisages that Murrary House has a combination of different sets of historical structures.

「同昌大押」石柱來自上海街一幢已拆卸的舊樓，可見美利樓由多座古蹟拼湊而成。
