Revisiting Niagara Falls 重遊尼阿瓜拉大瀑布

In the past two weeks, I was busy with the preparation of the 7th anniversary of the Standard Grade Examination of the Chinese musical instruments organized by the Central Conservatory of Music of China in Toronto on October 31 and November 1 respectively. Thereafter, we have a "Concert of Chinese Musical Instruments presented by Virtuosi from China and Canada" with Standard Grade Exam Showcase.

Therefore I could not update posts of new albums taken recently. I have been accustomed to putting up new posts within 7 days. I felt uneasy and regretful. Finally the concert was concluded successfully on 2 November. My 2-week tension and anxiety were totally relieved. On 3 November, Pipa soloist and Associate Professor WU Qiong of the Central Conservatory of Music of China and guzheng soloist and Associate Professor JIANG Li of Beijing Normal University and I took a sight-seeing tour to Niagara Falls. Both of them flied to Toronto from Beijing to be the adjudicators of the 2-day Chinese music examination. They also performed in the concert on 2 November. This album was made to capture the Falls in the fall and to record their joy and beautiful images in the tour before their return to Beijing.

過去兩周，忙着籌備北京中央音樂學院在多倫多10月31日和11月1日舉行的第七屆「中樂考級」和籌備安省中國民族樂團在11月2日舉行的「中加民樂名家演奏會暨中樂考級優秀匯演」，因此未能將最近拍攝的照片專輯準時放在網誌上。我的習慣是一周內要有新帖子，內心感到不安，也有歉意。11月2日晚的音樂會終於圓滿結束，多個星期的緊張心情現已放鬆，如釋重負。11月3日，與中央音樂學院的吳瓊琵琶副教授和首都師範大學音樂學院蔣莉古箏副教授同遊尼阿瓜拉大瀑布。兩位教授在10月31來多倫多主持了第七屆的中樂考級擔任評委，並參與「中加民樂名家音樂會」的演出。當天返回北京之前，我在大瀑布替她們拍下瀑布秋色和她們美麗的倩影。

I looked out from the window of the restaurant and saw a pigeon standing still like a model for the visitors to take photos.  The falls became the backdrop and the silhouette of these 2 customers was their photo frame!

在面向瀑布的餐廳進餐之時，従窗外見到一隻白鴿站着不動，猶似模特兒，任由一群遊客爭著為牠拍照，背後是濤濤不絕的瀑布流水。兩位食客的剪影成為他們的「畫框」！

When our car passed the hydroelectric power plant, I was attracted by the beautiful patterns of these interlocking lines of cables, power posts and the Rainbow Bridge.
