《The 19th Anniversary Joint Concert of Taoist Music》
Tonight I attended the concert of Taoist Music hosted by the Chinese Taoist Association and the Fung Ying Seen Koon at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. This year is the 19th anniversary of the joint performance.
Participating groups include Taoist orchestras from Beijing, Shanghai, Singapore and Hong Kong, as well as Wudang Taoist Kungfu group. This is the first time I have enjoyed a Taoist concert. The orchestras performed Taoist music using traditional Chinese folk instruments, plus Taoist choirs, singing, chanting rhymes, elegant and peaceful melody. In addition, the Wudang Taoist Kung Fu group performed Tai Chi Kung Fu, slowly and swiftly when it was in action, rigid and flexible, showing the yin and yang of Tai Chi and the air in breath of strength and weakness. The renowned guzheng maestro Professor Xu Lingzi specially invited to perform her mother Ding Boling's work "Boating in Qingjiang" was the only solo performer. Liu Hong, Dean of the Chinese Music Department, Shanghai Conservatory of Music was the MC of the concert and conductor of the Hong Kong Taoist Orchestra.
Having enjoyed the whole concert, I feel comfortable and peaceful.

《第十九屆道教音樂匯演》
今晚出席了中國道教協會主辦，蓬瀛仙館承辦，於香港會議展覽中心舉行的道教音樂匯演，今年是第十九屆。參演團體包括北京、上海、新加坡及香港的道樂團，並有武當道教功夫團。這是我首次欣賞道教的音樂會。樂團都是運用傳統中國民族樂器演奏，再加上道教的合唱團，吟唱經韻，旋律古雅祥和，優美動聽。此外武當道教功夫團，演出太極功夫，動作時緩時急，剛柔並濟，顯示太極的陰陽，運功強弱的氣息。大會特邀著名古箏演奏家許菱子教授古箏獨奏其母親丁伯苓作品《清江放排》，是唯一獨奏的演奏家。上海音樂學院民樂系主任劉紅擔任音樂會司儀及香港道樂團指揮。欣賞過整場音樂會，令我心身舒暢，感覺祥和。
