Pond scene in Mamiya RB67 萬美亞 RB67 的池景

《Pond scene in 6x7 Mamiya RB67》
The pond photographed today was unintentionally discovered in the jungle three years ago. My car is parked on the roadside and the pond can be reached on foot in 5 minutes. If you continue, the trail will go south along the river and about 15 kilometers reaching the lakeside away from Toronto Ontario.
I like to take photos here and enjoy the quiet environment. The small pond is level like a mirror, with reflections of dead wood, and birdsongs in the woods. The higher the daily accumulation of litter and dead branches at the edge of the pond, the formation of the water surface is getting slightly higher than the ground level, which is conducive to better low-angle photography. Today, for the first time, Mamiya RB67, a medium format film camera was used to shoot the pool scene. A roll of 120 film can take 10 6x7 larger (56mm x 67mm) photos. Digital photography focuses on "shoot first and edit later", which is convenient and fast. Film photography however emphasizing "man-camera fusion", spends more time on composing and uses the mind more to adjust the camera. Stressing on creative photography is in essence an expression of love in photo shoot and joy of playing with the camera.
